Former Nickelodeon pop band Big Time Rush has revealed their come-back tour for 2022, and none other than TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio is opening up for the first half of their shows.  Big Time Rush signed to Nickelodeon for a record deal and TV series in 2009, quickly gaining the interest of fans. The group continued on until their hiatus in 2014, which lasted until they revealed a new single and several reunion performances in December 2021.

The Call of Duty League has officially announced the mid-season Warzone tournament to take place on Rebirth Island, with $100k on the line for qualifying teams to face off against elite CDL competition. $100,000 prize pool. A Twitch streamer who goes by ‘Squid Game’ on the platform, and has done for many years, now says she may be forced to change her name, due to abuse, and now, loss of work. The name, unfortunately, matches that of Netflix’s most popular ever show. Squid Game is a Korean thriller, which debuted on Netflix in 2021 and very quickly became a smash hit, breaking Netflix records for viewership. Halloween 2021 was taken over by people dressing up as various characters from the show.

A video game adaptation of A Quiet Place is currently in development, so here’s everything we know about this upcoming horror title. The ‘A Quiet Place’ game was announced back in 2021 and will be set within the same universe as the movies. Not much is known about the game at the moment, but it will feature an original and “untold story”. The movies deal with a post-apocalyptic Earth following an alien invasion that has left most of the population dead or in hiding, while the aliens – or at least the monsters that have been unleashed by other more intelligent aliens – are blind but with incredibly acute hearing.

After a year without a Counter-Strike roster, Cloud9 have returned to the scene with the acquisition of the former Gambit Esports team that had been playing under the ‘Players’ name.  At the end of March 2021, Cloud9 confirmed that they would be leaving the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive esports scenedue to “financial” and “remote training” struggles – if only temporarily. As teams had started basing themselves out of Europe for competition, having a North American-focused roster presented challenges, but there has always been a clamor for the organization to return given their storied history within Counter-Strike.
