Twitch star Mizkif accidentally made a small stream viral, with the channel eventually banned from the platform, after his awkward discovery of it led to thousands of viewers descending on the rule-breaking broadcast. The Just Chatting section on Twitch has gone through quite a few renovations over the years as streamers get more innovative with the type of content they produce. While the title may suggest that streamers just talk with their viewers about a variety of topics rather than play games, others have used the category for hot tub streams and other risque broadcasts that brought about the implementation of new categories.

WoW Shadowlands rejuvenated the iconic franchise and Twitch streamer Caroline ‘Naguura’ Forer absolutely loves playing it. We sat down with the World of Warcraft player to chat all things Shadowlands. World of Warcraft has been around for some time now, but it has a fanbase so loyal that the title continues to flourish every year unabated. The release of the last major expansion in late 2020 has breathed new life into the MMORPG, and caused an influx of new players to swarm the Shadowlands to uncover their secrets.

As part of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Patch 9.1.5, the Mage Tower’s hallowed halls are open for business once more, but some WoW fans aren’t happy that a supposedly Legion “exclusive” skin is making a return.  World of Warcraft: Legion has etched itself into WoW history as being one of the title’s best expansions. With the now infamous Sylvanas having a bit more substance, and the introduction of Garrisons breathing new life into the gameplay, recent expansions have struggled to follow in Legion’s footsteps.

EA SPORTS are adding plenty of new teams, stadiums, and leagues to FIFA 21, so we’ve put together a list confirmed by the developers ahead of the game’s release on October 6. The game’s developers have already announced a huge extension to their exclusive agreement with La Liga, but also the loss of rights for some divisions will certainly provide a shakeup. Because of this, a change to the leagues and stadiums found in FIFA 21 isn’t too surprising, with AS Roma’s official badges and kits no longer appearing in the game, joining Juventus and River Plate from FIFA 20.

Dallas Empire’s Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter has revealed an insane purchase he made after winning the Call of Duty Championship back in August — and whatever you might think it is, it isn’t. Dallas were the most successful team of the inaugural Call of Duty League season, with multiple Home Series wins and a world championship trophy to top it off. As a result, their players made a fair amount of money throughout the year: around $350k in prize winnings alone, not including salary or any other sources of income.

Popular streamer Dr Disrespect mocked Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek’s new Logitech commercial on social media. The Two-Time Champion took the Twitch star to task over his now-infamous facial hair. Shroud made his epic return to streaming in August after Mixer shocked the industry by shutting down in June. The FPS god’s first stream back sent the community into a frenzy when he debuted a new look featuring a thick beard.

EA SPORTS has built one of the most successful game series in the world with its Ultimate Team monetization strategy, but with that comes a growing expectancy from fans for FIFA 23 – or another future game – to become free-to-play like Warzone or Apex Legends.  Everybody loves a freebie in life and the industry has certainly experienced a shift away from annual release games. Overwhelmingly, the concept of free games and purchasing cosmetics has taken over.

Another round of competitive Fortnite is just around the corner, and Season 7’s FNCS has some notable changes coming that players should be aware of, and we are stoked to see the festivities yet again.  Competitive Fortnite has been on a standstill since the FNCS All-Star Showdown at the end of June, but now, Epic has announced this season’s events which is once again going to feature the trios game mode.

Modern Warfare and Warzone received a huge update on April 8, but if you are facing a bugged update, with either huge download sizes or excruciatingly slow speeds, this could fix your problems. The update – which brings in brand new multiplayer maps, weapons and Warzone modes, went live at 7am BST/2am EDT/11pm PDT on April 8, and before long it became clear that players on all platforms were having issues with their downloads.

A new Overwatch patch has just gone live on PC, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, bringing updates to the Custom Games browser alongside some overall qualify of life updates. One of Overwatch’s greatest things is its community, which has independently produced so many amazing Custom Games since the game introduced the feature. Fans have taken customization to new levels, making games like Tiny Overwatch, Doomfist Sumo, Reinkart, and so many other wacky game modes to mess around with while in queue, or even in place of playing Competitive.
