Popular Twitch streamer Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek faced the most unfortunate timing as the servers ruined his intense Lost Ark boss fight. Despite claiming it’s the most boring game he’s ever played at its worldwide launch, shroud has quickly become obsessed with Lost Ark. The Twitch star has put in over 212 hours of the popular MMO so far – and that’s just counting the hours he is streaming. Recently, the former Counter-Strike pro even confessed himself that he’s addicted to the game, revealing that the first thing he thinks about every day is doing his Lost Ark daily quests.

ESL is working with Valve to host the second Counter-Strike Major of 2022 in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, Dexerto can reveal. Sources have told Dexerto that there are tentative plans for an ESL Major, called IEM Rio Major, to be held from October 31 through November 13. If confirmed, the event will mark ESL’s return to Major hosting duties after the previous two events of this caliber were hosted by StarLadder and PGL.

Twitch star ‘CohhCarnage’ thought he raised $1 million for charity across his two massive birthday streams, breaking all his goals. However, the record-breaking $600,000 donation made to top it off was apparently faked by a viewer. CohhCarnage is known for being community-minded and charitable on Twitch. Using his leverage on the platform ⁠— where he averages 10,000 concurrent viewers, as well as holds nearly 1.4 million followers ⁠— he tries to promote good causes.

Valve have released a new update for CS:GO on April 10, implementing some much-needed weapon changes, as well as tweaks to certain maps and other aspects of the game. The Krieg SG553 has undoubtedly been the most controversial weapon in CSGO over the past few weeks, and this April 10 patch has finally nerfed it, along with some nice buffs to both the M4A1 and Deagle. Guns aren’t all that developers tweaked though; several maps saw adjustments and there are a number of so-called ‘miscellaneous’ changes as well.

Showtime’s pay-per-view service was down for countless users for up to an hour in the lead up to boxing match between Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather. UPDATE 6/10/2021: SHOWTIME is now sending out refunds en masse following widespread technical difficulties during the Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather fight card on June 6. A released screenshot of an email sent from SHOWTIME to a customer claimed that the streaming “experience was not up to our standards, and accordingly, we will be issuing a full refund for your Pay-Per-View purchase.

Apex Legends players have got a trick that lets Octane jump seemingly higher than normal when using his launchpad, though, it might be quite situational. Ever since being introduced back in Season 1, Octane has helped shake up Apex Legends thanks to his unique movement abilities.  The adrenaline junkie might not feature in every match in the same way both Pathfinder and Wraith do, but when he does, you can be sure to see him whizzing around the map using Stim or flying high with his jump pad.

A wild new play with Echo shows just how powerful her ultimate can be, and is adding fuel to the fire for some Overwatch players claiming that the ability is much too overpowered. Echo is the last new character that will be added before Overwatch 2, and her Duplicate ability is unlike any ultimate we’ve seen so far, since it allows her to imitate any other hero in the game.
