Despite being banned from Valve events permanently, effectively preventing him from competing at the highest level in the game ever again, steel persevered and spent years redeeming himself in both the eyes of the community and his fellow competitors.

Valkyrae's new YouTube Gaming deal will see her stay on platform until 2024

Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter will sit on her YouTube streaming throne for another two years, the 100 Thieves co-owner has revealed, extending her time on Google’s powerhouse video website to at least four years. Valkyrae first joined YouTube back in early 2020 and spent the next two years streaming exclusively on the Google-owned website as her fanbase continued to grow. There were question marks over whether the 100 Thieves owner would be staying with YouTube after her 24-month deal, especially after she hurried to wrap up all her agreed hours at the tail end of 2021.

Twitch fans are wondering where former star streamer and OfflineTV member Federico ‘Fedmyster’ Gaytan has gone after he’s been completely dormant on social media. Fedmyster was once a popular Twitch personality and one of the faces of the streamer collective OfflineTV. Since his removal from OTV in June 2020 following sexual misconduct allegations, he’s taken a big step back from content creation. Despite a brief return in Summer of 2021, he’s mostly stayed away from streaming and YouTube.

Barstool owner Dave Portnoy reveals they’re 99.9% leaving SiriusXM

Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy has appeared to confirm that the popular website’s SiriusXM channel will be moving on satellite radio, claiming he was “99%” sure they were leaving. The satirical sports website announced its SiriusXM channel back in November of 2017 and launched a few months later in January 2018. Now, however, it seems like the deal is done and so is Barstool. Dave Portnoy, Barstool Sports’ founder took to Twitter to announce that it was looking extremely unlikely that the channel would continue on SiriusXM.

Call of Duty pro Doug “Censor” Martin famously gave up his relationship with weathercaster Yanet Garcia to focus on gaming – only revealing his new romance a year later. Hollywood star Johnny Depp is already breaking major milestones on TikTok, gaining over 11 million followers after joining the platform in wake of his trial with Amber Heard. The Depp vs Heard trial is still the talk of the internet even after its conclusion over a week ago. The hearing lasted well over a month and saw testimonies from both ex-spouses. Depp notably sued Heard for $50 million over an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018, in which the actress alleged she was a “public figure representing domestic abuse.
