Game Freak has added a new boss battle mechanic in Hisui. Here is where to find each Noble Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus and how to beat them.

Although Pokemon Legends Arceus is set in Sinnoh’s ancient past, Game Freak has used the Diamond & Pearl origin story to introduce new features never before seen in the franchise.

One of those mechanics is the Frenzied boss battles which see Trainers facing off against Noble Pokemon. Here is a breakdown of how to quell the enraged ‘mon trampling the Hisui region.

What are Frenzied Noble Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus?

In Legends, players are tasked with curing Noble Pokemon that are frenzied.

As players move through the story they will encounter the Wardens. These gifted Trainers are the caretakers of Noble Pokemon who are towering ancient creatures that rule over the various areas of the Hisui region, such as Scyther evolution Kleavor.

A mysterious force has transformed the Noble Pokemon into raging monsters, however, and you are tasked with entering their lair and quelling them.

In Pokemon Legends, there are a total of five Frenzied boss fights:

Where to find Frenzied Noble Kleavor

Kleavor is the first Noble in the game.

You need to have completed Mission 6: Summoned by Commander Kamado first before getting access to Kleavor. Following that quest, you will then unlock Mission 7: The Frenzy of the Lord of the Woods.

The quest will make the boss battle spawn at Grandtree Arena in the Obsidian Fieldlands. To get there, fast travel to the Heights Camp and then make your way to the southeast bottom of the map.

The Frenzied Noble fight can be found at the Grandtree Arena.

Where to find Frenzied Noble Lilligant

The Grass-type Noble is the second Frenzied battle in the story.

Shortly after defeating Kleavor, players will then receive Mission 8: Arezu’s Predicament which will give you a quest to quell the second Frenzied Noble battle.

You will need to progress the mission’s story first before the battle will spawn at Brava Arena in the Crimson Mirelands.

Frenzied Noble Lilligant is found in the Crimson Mirelands.

Where to find Frenzied Noble Arcanine

The Arcanine Noble is the third boss fight in Legends.

The third Frenzied Noble is located on the Cobalt Coastlands. Players will head to the oceanside locale after receiving Mission 10: The Lordless Island from Commander Kamado.

After unlocking the Basculegion mount from Warden Iscan, make your way to Firespit Island to face off against Frenzied Noble Arcanine.

The Noble can be found at the volcano of the Coastlands.

Where to find Frenzied Noble Electrode

The Electric-type is the 4th boss fight of PLA.

For the fourth Frenzied Noble, you will be heading to the Coronet Highlands after receiving Mission 11: Scaling Perilous Heights.

After unlocking the Sneazler mount, make your way to the Moonview Arena where Noble Electrode is found.

Electrode is in the Coronet Highlands.

Where to find Frenzied Noble Avalugg

The Giant Ice-type is the final Noble battle in the game.

The fifth and final Frenzied Noble will take Trainers to the snowy terrain of the Alabaster Icelands. After taming Electrode, players will receive Mission 11: The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra.

After obtaining the Braviary mount at Snowpoint Temple, you’ll make your way to the Icepeak Arena where Noble Avalugg is.

Avalugg can be found in the Alabaster Icelands.

How to beat Noble Pokemon

Speak to a Warden

Players will be tasked with curing Frenzied Noble Pokemon.

While progressing through the main campaign, players will get assigned missions from Commander Kamado at the Galaxy Team HQ for each Noble Pokemon. You will then set off on the quest and venture into a new map to meet the Warden responsible for the Frenzied ‘mon.

After speaking to the Warden and completing a set of main story missions given by them, you will eventually be tasked with battling the angry Pokemon.

Find the Noble Pokemon’s arena

Trainers can battle Frenzied Noble’s in specially marked-off locations on the map.

Noble Pokemon battles take place in a sectioned-off area of the map. These special locations are only accessible after progressing the story. Once your main quest sends you there, simply enter the location walk into the territory to trigger a cutscene.

You will then automatically be thrown into an epic battle with the Noble Pokemon. There are four phases to these fights and you will need to deplete their health bar each time.

Use Balms on the Frenzied Noble Pokemon

For most of the battle, the Frenzied Noble will charge at you or unleash a power that can stun your character. You will need to use the Y Button to dodge. In between these attacks, pelt the ‘mon with Balms given to you by a Warden.

Balms are infinite so throw as many as you can when you get an opening. If the Noble crashes into a wall or takes enough damage, they may become stunned. In this instance, hit the X button to switch to your Pokemon and throw your Poke Ball out at the Noble.

After completing a turn-based battle, the Frenzied ‘mon will then be stunned for an extra 10 seconds which gives you a major opportunity to throw as many Balms as possible to lower its health.

Cure the Frenzied Noble Pokemon

Frenzied Pokemon can be cured with Balms.

Once you have brought down the yellow meter completely with enough Balms, a special cutscene will trigger and prompt you with throwing one last balm.

After the story moment plays out, the Frenzied Noble will become cured of its enraged status.

How to catch Noble Pokemon

In short, you can’t. Each giant Noble is a part of the story and you will not be able to technically catch them even after defeating their battle. However, you can still evolve other Pokemon into their species (they just won’t be the same giant ‘mon).

One workaround to this is capturing Alphas. If you capture an Alpha Scyther, for example, and then give it a Black Augurite, it will then evolve into a massive Kleavor. So players looking to collect Nobles will have to catch other wild Pokemon and then evolve them.

And that is everything you need to know about quelling the Frenzied Nobles in Pokemon Legends Arceus.
