What is the current Genshin Impact banner?

The Genshin Impact Yelan banner has finally been released.

The current Genshin Impact banner was released on May 31, 2022, and features Yelan, the Ministry of Civil Affairs agent. As a Hydro Bow user, Yelan specializes in bombarding her foes with deadly arrows and creating Hydro blasts that soak her enemies.

Apart from Yelan, the Discerner of Enigmas also features three different 4-star characters for you to draw. These characters are:

  • Barbara (Hydro)
  • Yanefei (Pyro)
  • Noelle (Geo)

When does the current Genshin Impact banner end?

The Yelan banner will end on June 21, 2022. This gives Travelers plenty of time to save up Primogems and spend them on her banner. Having said that, we’ll update this section should HoYoverse extend this date further.

Xiao joins Yelan in the Genshin Impact 2.7 update.

The Genshin Impact 2.7 features a banner rerun for the beloved 5-star, Xiao. Invitation to Mundane Life will be accompanied by the release banner for Yelan, giving Travelers another opportunity to add the Anemo-elemental Polearm character to their team.

  • Noelle (Geo)

The next Genshin Impact banner is scheduled to release in the second half of the 2.7 update.

Arataki Itto and Kuki Shinobu banner

Arataki Itto and Kuki Shinobu will have boosted drop rates during Genshin Impact 2.7.

The official HoYoverse Livestream for update 2.7 has confirmed that both Arataki Itto and Kuki Shinobu will be making their way into Genshin Impact’s banners. However, you should note that Yelan and Xiao will be released during the first half of the update, while the Itto and the four-star rated Kuki Shinobu will be released during the second phase of update 2.7.

On top of all these, due to the extended delay in update 2.7’s release, dataminers have even managed to reveal information regarding update 2.8.

According to these leaks, Shikanoin Heizou will be the new 4-star rated Anemo-based Catalyst-wielding character to join the ranks in Genshin Impact 2.8. Apart from that, it has also been suggested that a new 4-star rated Sword user will be released in update 2.8 as well.

Kazuha banner rerun

Kazuha could be making his first banner appearance since 1.6.

A number of Genshin Impact leaks point towards a Kazuha banner rerun in 2.8. Not only does the Anemo 5-star make an appearance in the Summer Sea Sojourn event, but he also will be appearing in the “Acer Palmatum Chapter: Act I” story quest.

Additionally, images from the Phantom Realm event have also appeared online, giving Travelers an early look into what appears to be the wandering samurai’s old home.

While these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, it certainly looks promising for those who have yet to unlock the Anemo Sword user.
