It looks as though the suspension that Twitch have handed out to FaZe Clan pro Call of Duty player Thomas ‘ZooMaa’ Paparatto is going to end sooner rather than later.

ZooMaa announced on September 7 on Twitter that his suspension has been reduced and that he should have his account enabled in “less than six days.”

According to the CoD pro, Twitch made the choice to reduce his ban after making “a mistake on their end.”

Heard back from Twitch. They made a mistake on their end and I will have my account back in less than 6 days. Love to hear that. #FaZeUp #ZooMob

ZooMaa’s Twitch was first suspended on September 5, although no reason for the ban was revealed at the time. Initially, his suspension had been for seven days, since it had been his first violation of Twitch’s terms of service.

The next day, he announced that his suspension had been increased to “indefinite,” although Twitch had not provided a reason as to why. He also revealed that this had all happened because he had been discussing someone’s address live on stream, which would be a bannable offense under Twitch’s T.O.S.

Was on the phone with my friend and thought my mic was muted, and an address was said. It was an accident and my first strike…

However, it has since turned that the reason his suspension had been drastically increased was because Twitch had made an error in registering this case as ZooMaa’s second violation, when in fact it had been his first.

I got a 7 day suspension, they just made a mistake and striked me twice which made me indefinitely suspended.

Now that the misunderstanding has been resolved and Twitch’s error corrected, the FaZe star will look to be going back live in less than a week.
