Every Legendary Pokemon in the Crown Tundra DLC

Table of Contents

Legendary Pokemon from past generations have finally been added to Pokemon Sword and Shield in the Crown Tundra DLC.

There was uproar when Pokemon Sword and Shield first released and trainers realized that not only was half the National Pokedex missing but that there were zero Legendary Pokemon from the older generations.

It looks like that was all part of a plan however, with their returns coming in the second Sword Shield expansion. It seems to have worked too, as Crown Tundra expansion has been well received from virtually all quarters.

Over the years, and generations, there have been a lot of Legendary Pokemon added to the franchise. So, it should come as little surprise that the list of returning legends is quite long – not that trainers will be complaining.

This is in addition to latest new Legendary species – Calyrex, Glastrier, Regieleki, Regidrago, and Spectrier. Furthermore, the Crown Tundra also brought Galarian forms of the iconic Kanto bird Pokemon.

The Crown Tundra plays host to all previously missing Legendary Pokemon…

The Terrible Titans Lurking Locked Away

Meanwhile, the Regi-Pokemon are part of the Crown Tundra’s story. They feature in The Terrible Titans Lurking Locked Away chapter.

  • Regice
  • Regirock
  • Registeel

Each of these is obtained in order to progress through the chapter and the expansion as a whole. They are required to encounter Regieleki or Regidrago.

Interestingly there aren’t any missing legends but a lot of Mythical Pokemon haven’t been added. Surely they are in Game Freak and the Pokemon Company’s plans, though. Time will tell.
