After over a year of inactivity, a concerning message has been posted to 11-year-old rapper Lil Tay’s Instagram story, leaving worried fans trying to figure out what could have happened to the young star. Lil Tay, real name Claire Eileen Qi Hope, broke the internet in 2018 when she was just 9 years old, thanks to her outrageous videos in which she flexed cash, cars, and used extreme profanity. The videos were so bizarre that they quickly went viral online, and the Canadian creator gained millions of followers across various platforms.

After community outrage over a new Warlock armor set arriving with Eternity’s End, the World of Warcraft dev team acknowledged fan feedback and confirmed the outfit would be updated prior to WoW’s Patch 9.2 release. The epic conclusion to World of Warcraft’s Shadowlands saga, Eternity’s End, had a less-than-stellar reveal. Between a lack of community interest and Blizzard’s on-going embroilment in a slew of sexual harassment lawsuits, the game’s next content drop is already facing an uphill battle.

It’s no secret there’s a large overlap of Overwatch and anime fans, but one player took things to a whole new level by creating an entirely original, hand-drawn anime intro featuring the game’s heroes. Overwatch contains a number of nods and outright references to various animes, but one thing we still haven’t seen yet is an actual animated series set in the game’s universe. While we did see leaks earlier in 2020 that could indicate an OW series is coming to Netflix, it obviously hasn’t happened yet.

Respawn Entertainment have explained why the loot-filled train that roams the World’s Edge map will be stopped for Apex Legends Season 6, which is set to drop on August 18.  The Apex Legends Season 6 launch is set to be the game’s largest update in the last few months, making a host of changes to the current meta. Obviously, the biggest change will be the introduction of Rampart, the new Legend.

A new Black Ops Cold War leak has claimed that two new melee weapons will be added to the game in the future, with one being a classic in the Black Ops franchise.  Treyarch have been adding plenty of new content to Black Ops Cold War since it launched back in November of 2020. There have been new maps, weapons, game modes, operators, cosmetics, and changes to Warzone as well to boot.

Its second major DLC, The Crown Tundra, dropped on October 22, and brought a host of Legendary monsters to the Galar region.

The Overwatch League has announced changes to Jay ‘Sinatraa’ Won’s MVP Zarya skin, along with refund availability, following recent abuse allegations against the former Overwatch pro. Less than 24 hours after Won’s ex-girlfriend Cleo ‘cle0h’ Hernandez came forward with accusations of sexual and emotional abuse, the Overwatch League has announced a set of changes for his in-game cosmetic. Sinatraa’s alien-themed Zarya skin was awarded for his MVP run through the 2019 season with the San Francisco Shock.

Pokemon Go is back with their next season-long event, the Season Of Mischief! Following the Season of Discovery, this season continues to shuffle which Pokemon spawn in the wild, hatch from an egg, and maybe even a few mischievous events.  Pokemon Go’s Season of Discovery was a success, it gave players the ability to catch Regice, Registeel and Regirock again as well as few other “surprise” events throughout the three-month event.

A viral TikTok shows the damage by desperate scalpers.  The Pokemon franchise is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2021 by teaming up with companies to give out special edition cards. The promotion has been met with chaos though, such as scalpers buying hundreds of McDonald’s Happy Meals to hoard the limited-time items.
