Popular streamer Sebastian ‘Forsen’ Fors has been unbanned from Twitch. He was handed an “indefinite” suspension in November for showing a GIF of a horse, sent by a viewer, which the platform deemed inappropriate. As it was not Forsen’s first suspension, but his third, Twitch’s policy on repeat violations led them to dealing him an indefinite ban, rather than a set time, as is more common. However, there was backlash against Twitch for a number of reasons; fans felt they had not taken context into consideration (Forsen was unaware of the content before showing it, and quickly removed it from view when he realized), and argued it was a harsher punishment than other similar or even worse violations by other streamers.

Game Thrones star Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson has made history by becoming the first man in history to deadlift 501 kg / 1104.5 lbs on a conventional barbell – edging past Eddie Hall’s four-year old record. Aside from being the Lannister’s own personal bodyguard, Hafthor Bjornsson is one of the strongest men in the world. Having been crowned Europe’s Strongest Man five times, the 2018 World’s Strongest Man winner has been gunning for the deadlift world record for quite some time.

Fortnite Lantern Trials are back for April 2022, giving players a new set of daily tasks to complete with free rewards including the Leadlight Wrap and Dream Lantern Back Bling. Epic Games regularly host limited-time special events in Fortnite to keep things fresh and get players returning to the game. The latest is the Lantern Trials, which features daily quests and free rewards. The best rewards on offer during these trials are the Leadlight Wrap for your weapons and the Dream Lantern Back Bling to wear on your favorite skin, but there are also a few emoticons to earn along the way.

Fortnite Battle Royale on Twitch, though he has been dabbling in Call of Duty since the October 2019 release of Modern Warfare. On top of his gaming ability, we regularly see Hamlinz freestyle rapping, casually dropping bars off the top of his head during his more laid-back sessions, and it’s always entertaining, mostly with a comedic edge to it that not only showcases his talent but his humor too. Hamlinz (right) has amassed over 2 million followers on Twitch.

Apex Legends is starting to see some huge streamers return to the game ahead of its Season 10 update this August, but a lot of that comes down to the current state of Warzone.  The game’s next major patch is stacked with fresh content, whether it be the new Legend, Seer, buffs and nerfs for its roster of characters, or map changes. There’s going to be a lot for Apex fans to sink their teeth into, of that there is no doubt.

Wild Rift patch 2.2b is here, and the new releases just keep on coming. Two new champions in Kha’Zix and Rengar are finally hitting the Rift along with a new Masters of the Hunt event, as well as plenty of balance changes to keep the meta in check. TikTok star Addison Rae took an unannounced hiatus from social media in wake of multiple allegations of racist behavior, prompting some fans to worry about her health — but the star has debunked any wild claims concerning her break. Rae is one of TikTok’s most popular personalities, having once been part of the famous Hype House content collective and boasting over 49 million followers due to her viral dance videos.

Apex Legends’ in-game movement system is incredibly satisfying, but this CSGO-style mod brings surfing to Respawn’s battle royale.  Thanks to R5Reloaded, Apex Legends players have been creating a variety of whacky and interesting mods. This custom Apex Legends client allows players to make custom game modes, create new weapons, and even add entirely new abilities. From Fortnite-style building mechanics to Titanfall’s infamous Smart Pistol, there is a seemingly never-ending slew of mods.
