Blizzard could be overhauling the cosmetic system in Overwatch 2 as a newly leaked survey has revealed the developers are considering customizable skins in the upcoming release. Since the reveal of Overwatch 2 at BlizzCon in November 2019, the developers have been all but silent. While we have a rough idea of every map in the works, and a few guesses on who the new heroes could be, fans have been kept in the dark ever since the unveiling.

The latest map in Overwatch has a game-breaking issue as players have found ways to break out of Kanezaka for the easiest kills possible. While the new location is the first new map in almost two years, it hasn’t come without issues. Kanezaka was only just released on January 12 but players are already uncovering some devastating problems on the map.  Exclusive to the Deathmatch game type, the map layout is designed for fast-paced action rather than objective play.

PewDiePie is no stranger to ripping on YouTuber and Twitch streamers for their homes and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys proved to be no exception, but he felt especially concerned over her setup. On August 19, PewDiePie watched a video from Pokimane where she showed off her streaming setup.

TikTok star Noah Beck impressed viewers with his performance at charity football game Soccer Aid, scoring the opening goal for the winning team, World XI. 21-year-old Noah Beck is a TikTok star with over 33 million fans on the app, where he has been posting videos for his loyal fanbase since he started using the platform in 2020. On June 12, Beck joined World XI against England in the annual Soccer Aid football match, a charity game where teams comprised of celebrities and former pro-players go head-to-head in order to raise as much money as possible in aid of UNICEF.

In a since-deleted viral TikTok, Call of Duty: Warzone players got a peek behind the hacker’s curtains — as a cheater demonstrated how silent aim and standard aimbot look “for educational purposes.” One of the most controversial Warzone TikTok creators, ‘rushman360’ seems to do a lot of hacking videos under the guise of showing legitimate players what they’re really up against. While many are reasonably outraged by the TikToker’s content, others find it interesting — as he often breaks down precisely what hacks do, how they look, and how they can be detected.

World of Warcraft’s newest expansion, Shadowlands, adds brand new cosmetic options for your character, and one of them actually comes straight from Overwatch’s Sombra. If you’re a WoW player who also loves playing Sombra in Overwatch, Activision Blizzard has your back (and your hair), because World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has a new hair option for the Night Elf race called “Sombra” that looks exactly like the hacking hero’s hair does in Overwatch.

Apex Legends players have called on Respawn to add a classic Call of Duty game mode to the battle royale – suggesting that it would translate well to the game’s Arenas maps.  Despite the obvious affection Apex Legends players have for their game, they have been known from time to time to request features that competing titles have implemented so successfully. In the past, they have called for features from Fortnite or Warzone, but recent posts in the game’s subreddit have seen them calling for a mode that has become classic in the Call of Duty series: Gun Game.

Actor Colin Farrell has teased some interesting plot tidbits for the upcoming The Batman film, seemingly linking it to Telltale Games’ Batman projects. Farrell, who will be playing The Penguin in the movie slated for 2021, spoke to SFX Magazine about how the incarnation of the hero will be different from what has come before it. As it turns out, Farrell is quite the Batman fan, saying he was “ecstatic” to be part of the DC universe.
