After more than a year playing for Dota 2 Team SMG, Michael ‘ninjaboogie‘ Ross revealed on May 20 that he had been dropped from the squad. However, the reason he was let go has caused a large amount of backlash against Team SMG, as according to ninjaboogie, it was because his mother was suffering from cancer.

Mizkif "done" with Twitch TV show meta amid Pokimane ban: "I played with fire"

Mizkif was quick to regret his latest Twitch broadcast that featured Avatar: The Last Airbender after fellow streaming star Pokimane was banned from the platform, vowing to stop restreaming copyrighted content on his channel. The most recent Twitch meta — rebroadcasting popular TV shows — has ended in disaster for some of the platform’s top personalities.  Pokimane was the first domino to fall as the social media celeb had her Twitch account banned on January 7.

TikTok star Peyton Coffee facing backlash for erasing her 'fan wall'

Hawaiian influencer Peyton Coffee has attracted backlash from fans after her Snapchat story showed her painting over her ‘fan wall’. As explained in a video by TikTok user @tylersenglishproject, fans had been sending Coffee gifts over the past two years in order to have their account handles written on her wall in return. In the comments, a lot of fans expressed their upset over Coffee painting over that wall, with one user even accusing the star of “using her followers for money”, whilst another demanding she “refund people money”.

Joe Rogan has revealed the first look at his new Texas-based JRE Podcast studio in an episode with comedian Tom Segura, and it’s a throwback for his long-time fans.  Since starting in 2009, the Joe Rogan Podcast has had a few homes in its time. It’s been based out of comedy clubs, Rogan’s home, as well as studios in both Los Angeles and Texas. When Rogan revealed that his time in Los Angeles was up and that he was making his way to Texas back in June, he also signed a mega deal to take his podcast to Spotify.

A Pokemon fan has recreated Aspertia City from Black & White 2 in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It’s so good, it’ll give you a serious urge to dig out your old Nintendo DS and play the Gen V games. Released in 2012, Pokemon Black and White 2 are the final paired games in Generation 5. They brought along two new forms of Kyurem, and updated features such as Hidden Grottoes, Unova Link, and Legendaries from Hoenn and Sinnoh.
