GTA Online Update: Zion Classic, 3x Cash bonus and big discounts

A fresh update is going live in GTA Online on March 26, adding a new car to the podium at the Casino, as well as some GTA$ and RP bonuses, and as always some big discounts on properties and vehicles. Last week’s update saw the addition of the JB700W to the podium, the classic James Bond Aston Martin look-a-like, but Rockstar have gone a completely different direction for the Lucky Wheel vehicle this week.

Scump and Envoy good to play for OpTic at CDL Champs after negative tests

[UPDATE: August 16, 7:30 PM ET] After weeks of concerns, particularly from members of the Green Wall, Scump, Envoy, and the OpTic Chicago organization have confirmed that the SMG duo have received negative tests and will be playing at CDL Champs 2021. There was a strong possibility that CoD’s biggest name of all time and his MVP nominee teammate would miss the biggest event in CDL history. It would have been painful for OpTic Gaming supporters and, unsurprisingly, for Call of Duty League viewership as well.

Sinatraa returning to Twitch "no matter what," but pro Valorant comeback still in doubt

Jay ‘Sinatraa’ Won will soon be making his Valorant return: the suspended Sentinels star claims he will be back streaming on Twitch “no matter what” as Riot’s investigation into sexual abuse allegations leveled by his former partner Cleo ‘cle0h’ Hernandez continues. Sinatraa was accused of sexually assaulting cle0h in March 2021. The former Overwatch League MVP turned leading Sentinels Valorant star allegedly forced himself upon Hernandez, who claimed she “lived in constant fear” during their nine-month relationship.

League of Legends Patch 10.16 is officially on its way, and this one is a doozy. The pro play playoffs are on the horizon, and Riot is shaking up the competitive meta in preparation for the annual mega-sized Worlds update next month. Oh boy, where do we start? Riot is pulling out all stops this cycle, though dev Mark Yetter has confirmed most tweaks will be “small ones.” The aim, he continued, is to “diversify the playoffs meta” before the run-in to Worlds 2020.

According to a new report, the Pokemon Trading Card Game is set to get “God” booster packs that are guaranteed to contain only rares inside. The epic collectible is allegedly a part of the upcoming Shiny Star V expansion. Ever since its 1999 release, players around the world have torn open Pokemon TCG packs hoping it contains a rare collectible inside. If one is lucky enough, they might even score a gorgeous holographic.

League of Legends co-founder Marc Merrill has admitted he would “love” to see Riot Games publish an MMORPG set in the world of their flagship title “soon,” but explained there’s a few roadblocks standing in the way of that dream. Up until recently, Riot Games was the butt of a regular joke in the gaming community — the company had produced and published one game, League of Legends, meaning the ‘S’ in their title was technically incorrect.

Ubisoft shuts down online for classic Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell and more

Ubisoft has officially shut down the online multiplayer for a number of classic games, with the likes of Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, Far Cry, and many more titles being impacted.  The online multiplayer services for a number of Ubisoft titles have been shut down, leaving only the offline portions of the games available. This news comes via an official announcement on the Ubisoft website, where the video game company disclosed all the titles that would be affected.

TikTok is now allowing 5-minute videos for some users

TikTok users are reporting that they’re now being given the option to film and upload five-minute-long videos on the app, not long after the limit was raised to three minutes. TikTok has become one of the most popular social media apps out there over the past few years, garnering a huge number of users who all participate in trends, challenges, and more, sometimes spending hours on the app scrolling through its wealth of content.

JayStation's girlfriend Alexia finally speaks out about fake death

Alexia Marano, the now-former girlfriend of YouTuber JayStation, has spoken out publicly for the first time following the series of videos in which he claimed she had been killed by a drunk driver. JayStation, who has over 5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, claimed that Alexia had been killed in an accident with a drunk driver. He also made a series of follow up videos, including visiting a fake streetside memorial, and using a Ouija board to ‘talk’ to Alexia’s spirit.
