MaximilianMus has been somewhat controversial throughout his YouTube career. He has been accused of bullying others on several occasions and under various circumstances, building up a solid fanbase for his edgy content as well as a number of critics. For example, streamer and content creator WEEST exposed Mus in 2019 for urging his followers to harass and humiliate WEEST on stream.

OpTic Texas sign Prolute to CDL roster as temporary iLLeY replacement

OpTic Texas have made official the signing of Challengers player Byron ‘Prolute’ Vera as a temporary replacement for Indervir ‘iLLeY’ Dhaliwal, who has been out of action due to an injury. OpTic Texas are one of the top teams in the Call of Duty League, topping Dexerto’s CDL power rankings and winning the first Major of the season. iLLeY has been a key player for the team, too. While not the flashy, highlight-reel player his teammates Brandon ‘Dashy’ Otell and Anthony ‘Shotzzy’ Cuevas-Castro are, his play-calls have been instrumental to the team’s success, especially in Search and Destroy.

PPSh overtakes MP40 in Warzone meta after devs confirm accidental buff

The PPSh has overtaken the MP40 as the most popular weapon in Warzone Season 2, after devs Raven Software confirmed they had accidentally buffed the Vanguard SMG’s damage above the rest of the field. On February 22, Raven promised that a nerf was coming to the PPSh, saying that they had given the gun an “unintended increase to both its base damage and location-based multipliers.” While the weapon had been growing in popularity, the MP40 was, for a very long time, the go-to weapon for any of the best Vanguard loadouts.

Valorant pros slam changes to deathmatch after spawn complaints

Despite trying to improve spawns in Valorant’s deathmatch game mode, the devs actually broke them with the 4.03 update. They acted swiftly and made a big change to the mode, and it has drawn criticism from some of the game’s top players. The Valorant 4.03 update buffed Brimstone, tweaked some of the game’s weapons, and crucially made some alterations to deathmatch spawns. Riot Games tried to remove ‘“dangerous” spawn locations and make wholesale changes to spawn logic to try and make it more fluid.

Streamer Ludwig has opened up about why he thinks the popular Reddit forum LivestreamFail is toxic for the streaming industry. The Mogul Money creator said it took him leaving Twitch to YouTube to realize the subreddit causes more harm than good. Originally created in 2015, the LivestreamFail subreddit has since amassed over 1.4 million active members. The forum has unofficially existed as an external hub for Twitch for years, with users posting clips daily from their favorite streamers.

On Wednesday, February 23, TikTok star Sienna Mae joined the BFFs podcast to discuss the ongoing allegations regarding Jack Wright. Almost immediately after the episode aired, Mae uploaded an op-ed to her personal blog accounting “vicious bullying” she’d received as a result of the ongoing accusations. In May 2021, TikToker Sienna Mae was accused of sexually assaulting fellow TikTok star Jack Wright by his friend, Mason Rizzo. A wave of Pokemon Go players are reporting their accounts have been hit with a suspension after Niantic accused them of “cheating” – despite supposedly never doing so. Some Trainers have been blocked from playing for upwards of seven days. After Pokemon Go’s update went live on April 9th 2021, reports began to pour in about issues plaguing the mobile title: from Team Go Rocket Balloon encounters freezing to maps completely disappearing altogether.
