The ESL Pro Tour is officially partnering with Canadian ecommerce giant Shopify to amplify Starcraft II esports. As announced, the collaboration will bring doubled prize pools and the return of SC2’s “Signature Series.” With ESL Pro Tour action underway in the StarCraft circuit, the organization has revealed that Shopify is getting involved as a new partner and what that partnership should entail.  For fans, the return of in-depth player portraits in the “Signature Series” should be exciting.

The first Major of the 2022 Call of Duty League season is officially in the books, with OpTic Texas hosted all 12 CDL franchises at the Esports Stadium Arlington on March 3-6. VTuber Bunny_GIF, also known as Bunny Ayumi, has responded to allegations of “harassment, manipulation, and abuse” directed at former friends and collaborators. Responding to Layna, a fellow VTuber and artist, Bunny said her actions were “hurtful” and apologized, but also claimed “many things were taken out of context.” On March 16, Bunny posted a message on Twitter that she was “open to having tough conversations” with “anyone with animosity towards me from the past.

Niantic disabled Pokemon Go’s visual weather effects system in December 2021 and players are not happy over its continued absence more than six months after the fact.  Pokemon Go is a premier Augmented Reality experience but that doesn’t mean it’s without flaws.  One of the most notable problems with the game is the lack of its signature weather effects system. Previously, the weather conditions in-game would match up with what local players were experiencing in real-time.

Nabil ‘Nivera’ Benrlitom is the latest CS:GO professional to move to Riot Games’ title. He will link up with his brother, Adil ‘ScreaM’ Benrlitom, on Team Liquid. The Belgian talent, 20, has been formally unveiled as Liquid’s new fifth player after months of reports linking him with a switch to Valorant. He will replace James ‘Kryptix’ Affleck, who has been part of Liquid since the Netherlands-based organization expanded into Valorant in August 2020 with the signing of the fish123 roster.

Xbox Live users and players in games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Rocket League, Apex Legends and more have all reported a widespread outage preventing them from logging into the network on March 15. March 15 update (4:37pm): Xbox Support has noted that Xbox Live services should be back online for all users. “Players should once again be able to sign in and access Xbox Live services normally,” they said in a tweet.

To unlock weapons, and their unique specializations, players will have to play and earn a certain amount of experience with the class they want to unlock weapons for, or the weapon they want to earn perks for. While it’s not an official map made by Psyonix, PC players can download and play on this ridiculous map right now. Lethamyr is a pro player turned content creator for Spacestation Gaming. While still managing to place in the top 100 players season after season, he’s also created highly detailed custom maps. The former pro has recreated iconic games inside Rocket League such as Among Us and Fall Guys.
