YouTube stars Ethan and Grayson Dolan released a feature-length documentary on the passing of their late father on February 17 — but they weren’t expecting the video go to viral. The Dolan Twins, as they are popularly known, announced in January 2019 that their father, Sean Dolan, had passed away after a two-and-a-half year battle with cancer. This led to an outpouring of support for the young internet stars, who, at 20 years old, were largely supported by their father in their endeavors to become top content creators.

Even though he’s banned from NoPixel, Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is still helping out Twitch streamers who he’d previously been working with on the GTA RP server. After toeing the line of a ban for a few days, xQc finally received his fifth ban from NoPixel’s GTA RP server on May 23, and it looks like he won’t be returning as it’s been labeled as ‘permanent.’ Before the ban, the Canadian’s character, Jean Paul, was a loose cannon who was all about being the top criminal on the server, and he could regularly be found teaming up with others for bank heists.

Twitch star Asmongold reacted to a fan edit of John Oliver roasting him for losing his hair and let’s just say, it went about as well as some viewers hoped. Asmongold has been the subject of balding memes for quite some time. Anisa Jomha, streamer and girlfriend of the popular content creator iDubbbz, has been banned on Twitch following the recent drama surrounding her and the YouTuber. iDubbbz has built a following of over 7.9 million subscribers and is best known for his popular content cop series, where he has called creators out for their unsavory behavior. However, the YouTube star received a lot of backlash after many fans criticized the star for ‘hypocrisy’ when his girlfriend Anisa Jomha shared that she would be selling private photos through a subscription service.

According to a report by Billboard, Twitch and the National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA) are close to signing a music licensing agreement that would put an end to the ongoing DMCA saga on the platform.  In 2020 just about everyone sought entertainment online, in which we saw the immense growth of Twitch. Popular Korean streamer Velvet_7 has finally been unbanned by Twitch after having her channel suspended for almost 18 months. When Twitch streamers receive a suspension from the platform, there is typically an indication as to when they’ll be able to return to streaming. Though, in rare cases, the platform will leave streamers in the dark and not say as to when they can hit the ‘start streaming’ button again.
