The Classic is the gun in Valorant you’ll see in every round. Why? Because you’ll spawn in with the free pistol. That’s why it’s a Classic. However, just because it’s free doesn’t mean it’s bad. In fact, it can do some serious damage if used correctly. You have to be wary of things you get for free. Usually in gaming, it means it’s the worst equipment out there. Valorant’s Classic is no exception ⁠— kind of.

Twitch giant Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has called on the Amazon-owned streaming platform to crack down on stream snipers, especially those who do so to promote their own broadcasts on the site.  Few things irritate streamers like stream snipers. The term refers to players who, by watching a Twitch stream, are able to track the player down in-game and ruin their match, often eliminating them. Unfortunately, it is difficult for game devs to clamp down on, and some call for greater intervention by streaming platforms themselves.

Through the Overwatch 2 release date reveal trailer in the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022 event, we now know for certain that new weapon customization features are on the way, as are inspect animations to show it all off. Keeping the hype train rolling after the first PVP Beta that ended in May, Blizzard once again showcased Overwatch 2 just four weeks later during the joint Xbox & Bethesda livestream on June 12.

Warzone players are delighted as the upcoming Season 2 Reloaded update brings some major changes to freshen up Rebirth Island, which has become wildly popular since the Vanguard integration. Rebirth Island was introduced to Warzone alongside the Cold War integration and, while it always played second fiddle to Verdansk, the change to Caldera has seen a lot of players switch over to Rebirth and show it the love it’s always wanted.

After multiple Destiny content creators reported their videos being struck with copyright claims, Bungie responded and said the action was done by a third party, not the publisher. Bungie has tons of content creators focused on their games and the stories behind them. However, on March 20 YouTuber Byf, who produces Destiny lore videos, reported that one of his standard-formula lore videos had received a copyright strike on the platform.

Apex Legends Season 12 arrives on February 8 and will introduce a brand new battle pass with 100 tiers of rewards for players to unlock. Season 12 of Apex Legends brings the new character Mad Maggie, the 9v9 Control LTM, and of course huge changes to the Olympus map. However, despite all of these major additions, a lot of Apex players have their eyes firmly focused on the new cosmetics and skins arriving in Defiance.

Pokemon Go is a free-to-play game which since its release hasn’t really forced players to spend real money. GTA Online’s Los Santos is a strange place and it seems like The Contract may have made that even worse, as NPCs are now pulling off insane stunts to kill players after the game’s newest update.  There’s always been an aura of chaos surrounding the main locales of the Grand Theft Auto franchise. From angry pedestrians willing to fight at a moment’s notice to policemen that can teleport into friendly cars, GTA has a way of keeping players on their toes.
