Team Liquid’s Jamppi reveals he almost quit Valorant to return to CS:GO

Team Liquid’s Elias ‘Jamppi’ Olkkonen has revealed that he came close to leaving Valorant and returning to CS:GO in 2021. Jamppi burst onto the CS:GO scene in 2019 as a rising talent, but his progress was curtailed by a VAC ban that made him ineligible to compete at Valve-sponsored events, including Majors. In February 2021, shortly after being benched by ENCE, Jamppi switched to Valorant and joined Team Liquid, one of Europe’s best teams, as a replacement for Adam ‘ec1s’ Eccles.

Glastrier or Spectrier: Which one should you get in Crown Tundra?

Glastrier and Spectrier are two new Legendary Pokemon added in the Pokemon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra DLC. Unfortunately, you can only get one of them (at least in one save file), so which one is better and why? First off let’s look at their typings. Glastrier is a pure ice-type and Spectrier is pure ghost. Of course, this is somewhat down to preference but when it comes to weaknesses, there’s only one winner.

Warzone pro TeeP reveals why hack accusations against big streamers are ‘fair’

From Call of Duty pro to Warzone pro, TeeP knows CoD as well as anyone. So who better to interview about top-tier performance and how it feeds into the streamer-hacker accusations? Tyler ‘TeeP’ Polchow’s opinion of Warzone hackers is easily summarized: “Tiring.” Like most players in top-tier lobbies, he trudges through multiple hackers daily. And that fatigue likely explains why he seems as excited about the upcoming anti-cheat as he is about the flashy, new map.

How to play Apex Legends Mobile on PC

Despite Apex Legends Mobile being intended for handheld devices, it’s actually possible to enjoy the game on PC. Although not conventional, the differences in the mobile version make it appealing and players want to experience it on a bigger screen. You’d be right to question why people would want to play Apex Legends Mobile on a PC when they can just do it on console or PC already, right? Wrong.

James Charles reacts to Google searches about his “death”

Makeup mogul James Charles is one of YouTube’s most subscribed beauty gurus, who skyrocketed to fame after his spat with mentor Tati Westbrook in May — but some of the net’s most popular searches about him have nothing to do with that feud. Instead, some of Google’s most searched terms on the YouTube star ask about his “death” — a humorous (if concerning) trend, considering that he is very much alive and well.

Simple Apex Legends training mode overhaul would be perfect for future rework

Apex Legends players are still hoping that Respawn will hear their calls and change the Firing Range practice mode, as they’ve got a few more ideas for changes.  For many players, hot dropping into a game or two of Apex Legends is just about all the warm-up they need before taking things seriously. Though, there are plenty of other fans who utilize the Firing Range beforehand. The practice mode allows players to use every weapon, and legend, to see what works best for them before a match.

Dana White reveals he’s open to Logan Paul fighting in the UFC

UFC chief Dana White has admitted that there’s a place for YouTuber Logan Paul in the UFC — as rumors heat up of a fight between Conor McGregor and Logan’s younger brother, Jake. Jake has had a long-running feud with not just McGregor but with Dana White, too. He’s frequently called out the UFC boss over issues regarding fighter’s pay, among other things, and the two definitely aren’t on good terms.

Player vomits during bizarre Mario Party drinking game Twitch stream

A little-known Twitch streamer had their moment in the spotlight as their game of Mario Party was interrupted by one of the players suddenly vomiting. Well, that’s what can happen when you down a little shot each time you win a mini-game. You wouldn’t normally expect anyone to be sick when they’re streaming Mario Party (unless they were playing the awful Mario Party Advance), but it’s more likely when you turn the plumber’s multiplayer title into a drinking game called It’sa Mee Bacardio.

TFT patch 11.19 notes: Draven nerfs, Riven & Nidalee buffs

TFT patch 11.19 is here — and much like its MOBA counterpart, it’s the “Worlds update.” The Set 5 Championship is around the bend, too, and the usual carries are in Riot’s sights — Riven, Nidalee, Draven — but it’s not all negative. The TFT Reckoning Championship is happening soon, which means Riot don’t want to shake up the meta too much in TFT patch 11.19 in case it ruins the balance.
